Note: the model ROYALE exists in three subsequent series. The first two with calibre 526 (1969-1977 and 1978-1984), the third series was shipped with calibre 540 between 1984-1996. This Atmos V 'Royale' model comes from the first Atmos Royale family by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The first Atmos clock was created in 1928.
It derives its energy from temperature variations and does not require any winding.
