Stunning and extremely rare LIP Mach 2000 / Moon

PUW 255 caliber (Made in Germany)
This movement also equipped the Bulova « Moon Phase »

Prototype produced in very few samples and never offered for sale by SMH-Kiplé (exists with a PUW or an Eta quartz movement)

Functions: Day, date and moon phase
Black anodized aluminium case
Black dial with a chronograph look
- one counter at 09:00 for days
- one counter at 03:00 for date
- one counter at 06:00 for moon phase
White hands & applied index (yellow for the date)
Central seconds hand

Red and black buttons have no function (!)
The yellow one makes all changes

Size: 41 X 42 mm. (41 X 45 with crowns)
Thickness: 10 mm.

Original blue strap
(+/- 23 cm watch incl.)
Genuine steel buckle

This watch is an authentic N.O.S (New Old Stock)
Note: there is an infime miss of paint on the red crown…

This never sold model is an authentic collector !

The watch is in perfect working order and keeps very good time .

Born in Paris in 1929
During the 50’s et 60’s, he worked for Caterpillar, General-Motors, Singer, Sud-Aviation, etc.
Later, he created a lamp for Erco, ski-boots for Salomon…
In 1974 and 1975, he designed for LIP a few models how became mythic models…
He also created later a watch collection for Certina in 1982
