Inkwell in bronze & marble

Very attractive bronze from the end of nineteenth century, in black and gold patina plus green marble.
The marble is for the base and for the inkwell.
Top and bottom are bordered by gild bronze.
A young child tries to have a look inside…

This beautiful group is unsigned but reveals a high quality…
